The D&P Elite School of Motoring was established by husband-and-wife team, Dee and Padraic, in 2012 to provide learners with expert driving tuition, a fun and supportive learning environment and lasting driving confidence.
Dee and Padraic’s learner drivers benefit from their years of specialist driving experience and their calm, easy-going approach that is ideal for even the most nervous drivers.
ABOUT PADRAIC & DEE
Driving has always been an important part of Dee and Padraic’s life.
Growing up on a farm outside Castlebar, Padraic started driving tractors at 13 and was a master at navigating farm vehicles and trailers through the tightest of corners and gate ways. He obtained his truck license at 18 and has gained more than 20 years’ experience driving arctics long distance, squeezing them effortlessly through the narrowest of laneways and supermarket delivery entrances throughout Ireland.
Dee was 26 when she learned to drive (Padraic’s first ever client!). After meeting Padraic, Dee realised early on she would need her license to help out on the family farm. She successfully achieved her driver’s license on the first test. Soon was learning to manoeuvre trailers through farm yards and at the local mart, and an avid horse lover, achieved her trailer license to be able to transport her horses and other animals on her own.
When they aren’t teaching people to drive or tow trailers, Dee and Padraic enjoy being out amongst nature at their family farm, caring for the land, horses, cows and calves.
